Greetings to all my fellow Laconians. My name is Arelon, ex-gladiator and slave who wants to fight and take up the Laconian cause to join your great and powerful country. I just wanted to introduce myself to my fellow countrymen and women and I hope to fight at your sides in the field of battle. Until then HAIL THARROS! HAIL LACONIA AND VICTORY!

No Majesty, I don't believe we have. Thats fine that some of our allies are drow but I wouldn't trust them as far as I can throw them on my best day with the winds at my back. However, I shall follow my lords directions. Basically, if you say they're fighting at our side I'll trust them as far as I would ever trust a drow. If your humble servant could offer advice it would just be exercise extreme caution when dealing with drow majesty. Perhaps we shall meet on the field of battle. Until the Fare the well, your majesty.

Who is this Arelon whom speaks so venomously about my people? It is true that many cannot be trusted and would do anything to turn a profit... But my friend Nyx Noquar and I know the meaning of friendship, and we have found very few as friendly to us on the surface world as Laconia has been.

Besides, Arelon, my son, a half-drow is a Laconian. And his adopted Laconian father is King Xoticus. So as he said, you should mind what you say.

Hail and well met,
First off, do not call me your son. I am no kin to you. Second I just merely asked my liege lords to exercise caution and if you really want to know why I dont particularly like your kind its because almost my entire village was destroyed by a drow raiding party and I was taken as a slaveto fight for their amusement. But, a drow was the one that allowed me to escape at the cost of his own life. So I don't hate all drow. I just tend not to trust them until I've gotten to know them. Maybe you're a good hearted drow like my friend was. But only time will tell with that. Until we meet then, Fare thee well.

Are you too daft to understand that I was referring to someone that was my son, and not that you are my son?

I know that the common Darkonian tongue can sometimes be confusing... But I don't see how you could've made the mistake, since I clarified it all by describing the person I was talking about.

Arelon, I understand your feelings about the drow and sympathise for what happened to your people. What you need to understand is that Lloth is to blame. I am dedicated to redeeming the dark elves by showing them another path. They were once like us, and can be again. Elves unite!!! Lloth be damned!!!

First as to your statement Ilztafein, I thought you were speaking to me in a condescending lets pet the human on the head type of way that I know drow to do. But, since you were referring to your son you have my apologies. Also, majesty I believe what you have said about Lolth to be undeniably true as I have seen firsthand the effects her twisted precepts have had on her people. I can only hope that you are able to succeed in redeemingsome of the drow and bring them back to our side and the proper way of thinking. Until next we meet.
