HAIL LACONIA!!! HAIL THARROS!!!
Missed everybody at the event, Dienekes gave me the battle report. How was the ice breaker for the new guys?
We are having a Holiday party/country meeting/year end review/2008 planning session the weekend after Christmas, I'll keep everyone informed as to wether it will be Friday or Saturday night(12/28-29), and where.

It wasn't too bad. A little wet though. We didn't get to play in the mud though. If I had a vote or say in it. I would say have the party on Saturday because I know myself and other people could more likely show up to it because we're off from work. Anyways, talk to everyone later. HAIL LACONIA!!!! You missed out, Fingers, it was some fun fighting with mixed-up teams. No stupid "3 man teams" like most icebreakers.

| speaking of ice breakers, i will be running the July 6th Icebreaker Battle. It will be a "House of Cards" type battle (assuming it got passed). BE THERE! |

At check in, you will draw a card from a deck of playing cards. At lay on, there will be 4 teams, each with a fort.
All diamonds will fight as a team, all clubs as a team, all spades, etc.
Each "country" will have a flag, king, queen, jack and ace. The "royals" will have special abilities to use during the day.
The object will be to kill the others royals, and to steal their flag/occupy their forts.
Points will be tallied, and a winner declared. Two teams to follow.
It is on an icebreaker day since countries will be divided up, and it gives everyone a good chance to fight with someone / meet someone new in Darkon. It should last 2-3 hours so plenty of time for 2 teams after. |
