|
|
Sir Bendore has been handing out flyers, including to Laconian Helots, seeking recruits for the "Darkonian Majesties [sic] Royal Constablatory [sic, again]".
What are some Laconian opinions about this chap? Any ideas what designs he has for this constabulary?
I have some further thoughts for King Banner & others, but thought I'd put this much out there for others to respond.

As a friend to Laconia, I will not lie. While I cannot tell you all of the character of Sir Bendore, I can and will say that, as far as I know, he has never once done anything shady to me or my countrymen.
In fact, he has recently looked out for me when I had a price put on my head by a less-than-honorable, lowly Rokugan knaive. He simply wants a more just society, and if you make yourself a member of the court and put yourself in his direct service as a member of the Royal Constabulary, you will not only be doing a service to the realm, but possibly giving even yourself protection from assassination attempts, which from what I understand, are illegal in the realm of Darkon.
Also, while I cannot publically state the exact circumstances of such statements, I can say that he has stated things to me a little over a year ago that I found very pleasing to my ears. _________________ ~Iltztafein

Thanks for the input. I thought I'd take the opportunity to learn about some of the personalities outside of Laconia. And of course, I can also learn a bit about those who reply by the nature of their answer...
He seems to be a good fellow--I did see the exchange that occurred when the bounty against you was posted. I know nothing of the history between you and Tsukebe, and so I cannot judge either party involved, but similar to what I said above, the exchange was illuminating ;)

Bendore Dubh is one of the sneakiest, underhanded, low down, backstabbing cut throats I have ever had the pleasure to work with.
He and his number one (Pug) often had competitions with myself and my superior (Tyra) when we all served as members of the Illuminati....if there were such a thing.

In my short period of time with Laconia I have seen nor heard anything one way or the other about this Sir Bendore.
