Post your questions and answers about the upcoming Gates of Fire campout here. My questions:
- Where is it? Are directions posted somewhere?
- How are we camping? I've heard that there aren't really cordoned off county campsites at Dagorhir like there are in Darkon. How do we find our campsite?
- Can we camp with the Spartans already there?
Additionally, if you need a ride, now's the time to ask.

| i was not going to go to this campout but when i was told about the dag thing i started thinking im not sure if i will be able to go yet but i should be able to. i plan on catching a ride with beth unless theres more people that need rides. no point in driveing my big ass truck for just me |

HAIL LACONIA!!! HAIL THARROS!!!
Prepare to go north for I have consulted with The Oracle and we march to The Hot Gates to meet our fate.
This weekend we are going to a regional l.a.r.p. event hosted by Dagorhir! We will travel to new lands, meet new people, and slay them, we shall feast on Saturday night, and party!
Next Laconian Event: April 25-27, 2008 - Spring Regional Event - Gates of Fire Campout at Pioneer Park Campground in Somerset, PA
Pioneer Park Campground: 273 Trent Road, Somerset, PA 15501
I think the cost for three days of camping is $15.00, and that gets you all the campground amenities.
You may bring pets and children to Dagorhir events, musical instruments; drums, flutes, guitars, other cool noise makey things will be fun too. One of Laconia's metal bards, Moose, has created some original music for the event.
Bring regular L.A.R.P. gear, and stuff for comfort camping. At Dagorhir there is no camp fighting so we will camp along side the Dagorhirum and show them how Laconia does it.
I am excited about this event and the opportunity it gives us to meet new players and face different fighting styles, and hang out in another group of foam fighters.
FIGHTING STARTS EARLY ON FRIDAY SO IF YOU CAN GET UP THERE YOU SHOULD.
