The oracle sits in her study. The 10X10 room hardly a study more a closet but she loves the space. She looks around to all of the books that are stacked around her and the ones that have created the desk she now works on.
She is deep in thought about the earth goddesses and how best to appease them since her countries harvest is lost to the winds, to the war. She begins to cry, a single tear hits the page that she is working on.
She feels sudden pain, and feels her body being taken over again. She writhes in pain. She lets out a scream as the beautiful Goddess Demeter appears before her.
Elektra now sits on the floor, having fallen clumsily off her make shift stool of books.
Demeter looks down upon her; “You have fallen once more child, how clumsy you are, and yet how beautiful.”
The Oracle looks at her with fear and sadness.
“Demeter, we have failed you, the creature has not planted in your name, He has not restored you to us… Demeter what can we do to help our self’s and fix our crops for the coming seasons?”
“Child,” Demeter spoke; “you carry a great weight, endearing your self to us gods, and you have carried that weight with grace, beauty and strength. And I have a message for you.”
The oracle looked at the goddess blinded by beauty and power.
“You have a journey ahead of you, Elektra, a long journey, I will lend you a horse and you will ride to you capital and you will give to the tree kings this message, do you understand?”
The oracle looked at her flinching with the sting of the goddess leaving her once more.
As she came round from the visions, a small green pouch was on her parchment, and the words in her head.
“I guess I get to see the kings again?” She says as she pulls her self up from the floor, her head spinning and her head aching…. Tomorrow, I will ride to them.
